Hey guys, i'm gunna be selling some of my pocket watch stuff (parts of mechanisms, keys etc). If any one is interested, send me a message. You guys are getting first pick, then everything is being put on ebay :)

Materials used in most of my projects
:bulletred: Pocket watch parts (screws, cogs wheels etc) - Ebay is the best place for this.
:bulletred: Clay - I use Fimo clay, which can be found at nearly all art supply shops.
:bulletred: Beads - Bead shops (if you live near one), or Ebay. There are a few wholesale bead suppliers too that are worth checking out.
:bulletred: Tools, ribbon, lace, chain, clasps etc - Any haberdashiery shop or craft shop, or markets.
:bulletred: Keys - I got all of mine from Ebay (I was lucky in finding an auction for about 150 keys!).
:bulletred: If i missed anything, let me know!

End of 3rd Year

3 min read
It came so quickly, I don't know where all the time went! I'm currently waiting for 3 out of 4 results from my exams that I had a couple of weeks ago. All being well and passing, I'll be doing my Honours year next year. I've chosen to study Trypanosomes for my research project (the parasites that cause Sleeping Sickness). I'm really looking forward to the project and the essay I get to write too (on a completely different topic).

It's fair to say that I only ever quickly glance at the messages on here, and have done for the past while, without actively partaking in anything. I'd like to say that I've been mega mega busy (which i have at times), but all the other times I just make excuses. I'm trying to start more projects - when I move flats (on the 25th-ish) I may dig out all my jewellery making things and have a see what I have. I've got loads of stuff, but they all seem to be pieces that don't 'fit'. I may do that tomorrow actually. Who knows. I'ts also fair to say that my jewellery isn't truely hardy enough to be worn, and so if there are new developments, then that should be beared in mind. I'm always happy to sell my pieces (as long as I don't get too attatched to them!), but they do break awfully easilly, especially if something is put on top of them.

Maybe i'll bring out the clay (if it's not gone too hard), and make something interesting. I couldn't say what yet though. I seem to have lost inspiration to do these kinds of things.  If anyone has anything they'd like to see, then as always I welcome your ideas and suggestions.

------

A quick note to say - thanks to all the people who have seen, fav'd and commented on my tutorial for a 'steampunk-ish' choker. I'm glad it's been helpful to everyone, and if you make anything of your own, let me know as I would love to see it! To those who are in the process of aquiring the materials or at least thinking of doing, it says below where I get my stuff from (or where I used to). If all else fails, go to ebay, you can find everything there.
